MODULAR TYPE
FEBRUARY 2024

Alphabets are a system of similar forms, only unique enough to distinguish between what they represent. Reducing these forms to a set of shapes allows you to see the uniformity while also testing the uniqueness of the forms. In using a modular set, this typeface evokes a geometrical logic, inspired by protractors, and how the angles create a whole. The typeface is made up of the supplementary angles 45° and 135° along with a circle. By using these mathematical forms, the typeface shows the likeness between the forms of the alphabet yet highlights their differences.
